Re: OBS Mileage

bought my cc with 154,000 got around 17-18 on the way home. then it got a stage 1's the day it got home. since then blown stock turbo 3 months after i got it,bent pushrods and lots of broken rockers. and im afraid to check the milage lol. its been a pretty good truck so far though cause all the stuff was my fault cause the stock turbo isnt meant to hold 40psi

Re: OBS Mileage

Sound like 17 mpg is about normal on these. What speeds are you running?

Re: OBS Mileage

I get about 18 if I keep my foot out of it. I had to replace the altenater as soon as I bought the truck I washed the engine and then it started charging 18 volts. Then I put helper springs on the front to level it out and help the tired springs. The ball joints were replaced before i got the truck and trans was replaced with a ford reman witch I had to put a torq converter in cause it was rattling so bad it was about to go along when I had the shaft out for 4 wheel drive the u joints were shot. The horn pad had worped on it when it got real cold one night back in the winter and burnt the horns up. $177 dollars from ford with no horns still. This fall its geting new glow plugs there no good either. I have had the truck for about a year now I love it to death I am just having a hell of a time with maintance that needed to have been done to it and never did and for any advice never buy duranco tires the cords break any time you put weight on them both rear tires have went so yesterday I have bought 4 new tires
