Re: transsmision

What type of transmission is this? I assume you have the E4OD...correct? Is this a new problem or has it shifted this way for a long time? My transmission shifts quick and firm. But I have replaced the stock valve body so that is why it does that.

Also, does the OD light on the shifter flash or the check engine dash light?

The OD light flashing means the computer has detected a fault and set a trouble code. You'll need to have the truck scanned for the code(s). The hard shift is a fail safe mode to allow you to drive it temporarily.

Re: transsmision

Now I dont know anything about transmissions at all hardly. When I take off from a stop light and start to get to higher RPM's it sounds like the transmission is humming then when the RPM's drop it stops until reaching higher RPM's.

Anybody want to help on what that is?
thanks
