D50 axle/spindle seals

Anyone have a part# for the rolling diaphragm seal? Also need just the seal for the needle brg in the spindle. Looks like you can buy a kit with the bearing but not just the seal....

Re: D50 axle/spindle seals

If I understand what you're asking for (and I'm not 100% that I do), I think you want an F2TZ-1S175-CA for the little seal with the plastic ring around it that seals the needle bearing and F81Z-1S175-HCA for the seal that goes between the stub shaft and the spindle. (Might also be able to use F3TZ-1S175-BBA there also). F7TZ-1S175-AA would be the hub seal (for the inner wheel bearing.) Hope it helps! Stephen

Re: D50 axle/spindle seals

well, I just called the local dealer and he said that Ford discontinued the parts. This dude at the counter didnt seem eager to sell too much of anything. All that he could do is refer me to the Spicer dealer....

Man, some of you guys suffer with crappy parts guys. Our local Motorcraft distributor is showing 6 of the needle bearing seals and 70+ of the axle to spindle seals. Hardly discontinued.

Yes, the dealers around here are only interested in late model rigs and leave the older truck parts business to some one wants to sell parts. I just need to find that guy...

The spicer dealer is almost next door to the dealer, so I'll go see him.

Can't read my own handwriting but I have a ford number for the rolling diaphram seal as: F81Z-1S175-HCH or F81Z-18175-HCH, but its a Motorcraft BRS-84 (that one I can read).

Re: D50 axle/spindle seals

the BRS84 is much more like what I have. I could not find a good pic to save my life... its just that hoolahoop thing. Then there is also another seal/cap that is something like a national 710414. the issue I had was that when I separated the spindle from the knuckle, these pieces just fell out. Ever since, I've been trying to find pictures and recreate their location.

thanks!

F81Z-1S175-HCA is a BRS-84 motorcraft seal Dave. Looks just like a National 710413 from the pic I saw online.
