Oil leak

I have a oil leak that is driving me nuts. It looks like it is coming from the back of the motor around the valve cover and leaking down the side of the block. I have already switched valve covers and gaskets, did my turbo O rings, and did a ebpv delete. It is a pretty good leak, dripping off both sides of the block. The valley by the fuel pump is bone dry. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Oil leak

There are two plugs, one on each head at the very back of each head that have o-rings that tend to leak and cause that problem. They are sort of hidden by the up pipes.

Re: Oil leak

do you have a ccv mod cause i just ran into this problem my self where my line got pinched and it was coming out the top of my dipstick tube and it looked like (from the bottom of the truck) like it was coming from the valve cover gasket.

Re: Oil leak

make sure you don't have to many bends and stuff in your lines cause i got mine pinched cause the tubing was to much of a angle and to long. whooopppsss

Re: Oil leak

The o-rings on the plug in the ends of the head?

There's an updated plug with the o-ring attached. That's what you should be getting. The Sticky thread (second from the top in this forum) has a list of parts numbers. It's on that thread. It's a high pressure oil rail plug or something along those lines.
