Oil in collant

I recently rebuilt the oil cooler on my 97 f350 and did not set the seals right so now I have oil in my collant and collant in my oil what's the best way to clean both systems out with out causing in more damage and what's the possiblity that something is damaged from my mistake

Fill coolant system wit water, pour a good bit of cascade in the coolant res. Drive it,, flush, rinse, and repeat, ive never done it on an obs, but on the sd trucks, i always pull the thermostat too
