oil leak

i have a MASSIVE oil leak from somewhere and i knew i had a oil leak from my dipstick tube and was planning on doing this one of these weekends but i keep finding something else going on... its coming from the valve cover head area. i know it could be the valve cover gasket too but its spraying a lot it found its way all the way back to my rear diff and bumper its all over. is there another area i should check out?

Re: oil leak

It's the passenger side though I think I did my CCv mod wrong and it's coming out of my dip stick tube... But sadly my oil cooler is leaking slightly too

Re: oil leak

The ccv is on the drivers side though, so idk how it would be getting oil on the pass side. If its spraying up out of your dipstick tube then sounds like you got some blowby. I know about a month ago I had to replace my valve cover gaskets because oil was coming through the electrical fittings. Maybe check your turbo o rings too, had to replace mine when I did the vc gaskets.

Re: oil leak

Check to make sure that you CCV is not blocked or pinched it will come out of the Dip stick tube like a fountain if it is. Try to re install the CCV back to stock and see if that works.

Re: oil leak

thats what happened was it was pinched and it is literally a fountain its everywhere. i didn't even think about it till i started tracing it back to that. newer valve cover gaskets. and it didn't start till then so i put it back to stock but ran out of time to tighten all my valve cover bolts down and now I'm out of town so I'm hoping that is what happened easy fix. thanks everyone
