Over drive light started blinking....

Loaded up truck and trailer to go to Glamis. Got across town and the overdrive light started blinking. Overdrive still works with switch, any ideas?
Just turned around and headed home to switch out trucks. Would love someone to come scan my truck while I'm gone for a couple days! Help! Hoping the tranny is not headed out.

Any ideas?

Any weekday after 5pm or on say wife will be home . Or ill be there in 30 minutes.

Without knowing the code not much we can do, what do you think your gross weight was?

Re: Over drive light started blinking....

Blinking OD light = trans has a fault code. Beyond that, not much help until the code is pulled.

Re: Over drive light started blinking....

pulled codes today..... Thanks to Jim.

Heres what we found.

P0470 Exhaust pressure sensor

and the tranny related

P1728 Transmission slip

We cleared the codes and took it for a drive and made an xcel file which i have no idea what it is showing. Maybe someone will. Did a couple full throttle take offs and seemed pretty good.

After clearing and driving we got a system pass
