ZF5 Swap Question

I'm thinking about picking up a 1991 F350 dually from my buddy. It has a 5spd and is 2wd. He did tell me that it likes to jump out of reverse and it grinds a little going into 3rd. I've read about the bushing in the pedal assembly going bad and all, but I'm thinking the jumping out of gear is a different thing. Of course when I take it out I would go through it so its brand new. So I guess my question here is what might be the cause of the problem and whats the cost/where can I find a good rebuild kit?

1996 F-350 CCLB dually, 4.10, 235/85R-16, ZF5, Tymar intake, Alabama Flowmaster, Isspro gauges, TS chip, Tightwad Mod

Re: ZF5 Swap Question

Bearing, Syncros, seals. All available from SO GRAND on here. It is Dan from Midwest trans

The popping out of gear is worn bearings and the grinding is worn syncros.
You will also need a pedal assem from a 92-97. The 91 will Not work in your truck

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known
