Roof leaking by windshield and small rust hole. HELP!

I have a 95 f350 crew cab and have water leaking into the cab thru the pinch weld where the windshield sits. Had the windshield replaced and re sealed and that surface is good. Im pretty sure the water is leaking in thru the silicon on the drip edge over the doors. Also have small rust hole over the passenger door starting. Has anyone gone thru this before and whats the best way of stopping this leak?

Re: Roof leaking by windshield and small rust hole. HELP!

If your seam sealer is cracked in the drip edge, then that is somewhere to start. You need to carve it ALL out. When you get it ALL out I would paint it with an epoxy prime or some POR15.(providing you take care of any rust) Then scuff with a red scotch brite pad. I would go with the 2 part Heavy bodied seam sealer since that is designed to be so thick.

Where is the rust hole over the door? In the roof, door jam, drip rail?

Pics are always good

You are going to have to CUT that out and WELD in or panel bond a new piece in

NOT silicone. You do NOT want silicone.

Anywhere the roof meets the cab, there will be seam sealer
