Not gettin any fuel

Yesterday I replaced the hpop seal that had been leaking for a while, also replaced all the o rings in the hpop except for ipr while I had it out. I put everything back together and went to start it and it would crank but not start. Kept on doing this for a few minutes and still nothing. Started checking everything and high pressure oil lines were getting oil through them and everything else checked out, but fuel bowl won't fill up. Truck didn't have a single problem other than the oil leak before I took it apart. No check engine lights or anything, and can't get to a scanner till tomorrow. Any ideas?

Well I'm guessing you pulled the fuel bowl to gain clearance correct? Didn't by an chance leave the fuel bowl drain open did you? Ask me how I know lol

Re: Not gettin any fuel

Took the fuel bowl out again and then tried startin the truck to see why it wasnt filling the bowl up. When i cranked it over it just barely squirted some fuel out, it didnt even really squirt it out, it just kind of poured out a small amount. Time for a new fuel pump?

Re: Not gettin any fuel

Is it common for them to just go out without showing any problems like that? Im not really complaining cause this means its time for e fuel but just wondering.

Re: Not gettin any fuel

I assume youre asking what it was when it was running? Not sure I dont have a fuel pressure gauge.

Re: Not gettin any fuel

Try switching fuel tanks and see if it the same. It could be an issue that is switching valve or tank related as well.

Re: Not gettin any fuel

Only has front tank. Po said the rear one rusted out and he removed it. The fuel lines are just cut off right where they curve out to go to the tank...
