Exclamation no power and a p0355

i idled the truck this morning for about ten min, while i was loading up then went to work no problems got thirty feet from my shop and the truck starting running extremely rough i barley made it into the parking lot at first i thought the fuel just gelled up but then at lunch the p0355 (cam sync intermittent failure) popped up. i had a cam sensor put in a few years ago per a recall.

any help would be appreciated i left it at my shop for the night so i plan on tearing into it tomorrow. i am a mechanic but do not deal with many diesels

thanks in advance
Zach

Re: no power and a p0355

The CPS can and do go bad. I would probably replace it and see what happens. If you were still getting issues after that, I might consider replacing the connector (a replacement pigtail is available). Cheers!
