Looking to buy Auto Enginuity, what do I need?

So my our work truck (97 F250, auto, TW tunes) started acting up today, the OD light started flashing and from the search results we need a scanner. My question is what exactly do we need to buy? I see there is the PC Based Scan Tool, Enhanced Ford Expansion, and then I see there is the Total Ford Scan Tool Bundle. What should we get? The Total Ford Bundle looks like a combo of the PC Based Scan Tool and the Enhanced Ford Expansion, is that correct? Just kind of confused on what to get and I did try the search, just nothing really clear came up. I do have two laptops too, one older and a brand new one, so should be good there. I would like to get going on this since it is our main work truck and the other one isn't really set up at the moment. Any help is appreciated and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Re: Looking to buy Auto Enginuity, what do I need?

unless you have other brands of vehicles this will do your ford in depth and others brands like a cheap scanner

Total Ford ScanTool Bundle
#SP03 - Includes:
• USB ScanTool (ST06)
• Enhanced Ford Expansion

find the best price from a sponsor like Stricktly diesel and don't worry about who's closest .. they all drop ship from up the street from My house Mesa AZ

I take it there is a learning curve? If I do run into problems the guy I bought my truck from has had it for a while and I can ask him for help, hopefully.

Re: Looking to buy Auto Enginuity, what do I need?

ya usually you can post up the question ,, there is no manual so to speak
and the MFG as cool as He is doesn't offer support for individual vehicle specific questions on the most part
it because a lot of test are standard to the vehicle so they don't know all the steps to complete some initialized test ,, it really is plug and play as in play around

the best for us is the new injector testing capabilities and the in depth module code retrieval

Re: Looking to buy Auto Enginuity, what do I need?

Ok. Well I got a lot of time, so I should have fun, lol. All I really need it for at the moment is just to pull the codes for the tranny to get the truck back on the road asap. I have always wanted to get it, but never really needed it until now.
