Exclamation 97 stroke cali edition fuel pulse dampner delete help

I got a california model truck and the fuel pulse dampner had a pin hole leak so after pulling everything apart to get to the thing I put a plug in where it was located reinstalled with no leaks after test driving the line off the banjo fitting to the head began to leak I figured ok must not have tightened it so I did it again it leaked again so i replaced the o-ring on the fitting test drive number 3 it started leaking again now my question is after doing the pulse dampner delete would that cause my lines to the heads to experience too much pressure and cause them to keep popping off?

No it won't cause a pressure increase. Did you make sure both sides of the banjo fitting had the copper crush washer still installed.

Why did you not replace it? I think it just evens out the flow of fuel for the split shots. Don't think it changes pressure at all.
It was about $65 when I bought one last year.
