Theres a variety of dealers and pricing should be similar. However, if you just want 'most' of the 7.3s OBD2 information available all the time and with the same ability to run injector tests and codes, consider a scan gauge in the truck. After getting the scan gauge 2 years ago, I haven't touched the AE.

2000 F250 CCSB-- GT4294R, 250/100s, Dahl/Fuelab, PHP, scan gauge, stock 17* pump

1994 F250 4x4 SC (sold)
1997 F250 CCSB 2wd (sold)

Re: a/e scanner

Great but will it do obd1 also since my truck is a 12of94 I thought it was obd1. I have a obd2 scanner and it won't read my codes but its for 96 to newer and is it only able to do the 7.3s

Re: a/e scanner

I don't think you want the A/E for that truck
