EBPV Problem, need help

This just started happening to me during the last week and today it was impossible to move more than ten feet without a loud hiss/roar coming from my exhaust. When it would hiss i would lose quite a bit of power.
I called some buddies of mine and they assumed it was the EBPV and said i can wire it open. Which I promptly did, but that didn't help the hissing sound. So i was wondering if anyone here would have any insight on this problem.
I'm 80 miles from home right now at school and would like to be able to make it those 80 miles back

Theres a two wire connector by the turbo on the driver side, unplug it.
