My New Truck

So i just picked up a 1995 f250 PS, and it seems to be exactly what i want except it does not seem to be spooling up the turbo until 3000rpm and extremely gut less in low RPMs. I'm new to the 7.3 so i don't know if is what i should be expecting if not what do i need to look at for probable cause of the no low end power. thanks for any help that you can give me

My uncle's got a 94 with the same problem.. I don't know what to tell ya but I hope someone here does, I'll be interested to find out also to help him

well im sure its not the problem but i know it needs to be done, im going to change the oil and fuel filter tomorrow and possibly build an intake if i have the time

Might want to check out the compressor blades and shaft for evidence of damage/play. Also check all your intake boot connections, the intake manifold(s)-to-head joints, and the line that runs to the MAP sensor on the passenger side firewall. Cheers!

Do you have a boost gauge or are you just saying you can't hear the turbo until 3k?

If stock exhaust and stock intake, you probably don't have a boost problem.

Also, these trucks are dogs stock. 170ish rwhp.

2000 F350 CCLB 4x4 auto, 250/200's from PIS, No Limit tunes, Isspro gauges, 4" exhaust and intake.

no i dont have a boost gauge yet, i guess that is the next thing i will be buying
