truck dies fuse # 22 keeps blowing

96 powerstroke with about 300k on it you can just be driving down the road and it will shut of crank and no start throw another fuse in the 22 spot fire right up good for days or weeks than it will pop one agian poped 2 this morning im think fuel heater is bad, going to try unplugging it. any insight appreicated thanks

fuel heater shorting out in filter bowl. most of us disconnect them and problem solved.

same thing here a few months ago. disconected fuel bowl heater and problem solved. From what I understand the heater is somewhat of a worthless system anyways unless you live in an area that see's -30 temps. someone correct me if I'm mistaken, please.

NO ONE EVER TELLS WHERE FUSE 22 IS? WOULD HELP GREATLY..

Fuse 22 is in the under hood power distribution panel. In location #22
