Major Fuel Pres. Fluctuation and Stalling

I have a 97 7.3 Powerstroke. It roughly every three weeks or so will stall while driving. Sometimes it starts right back up others it takes about fifteen minutes to start up. The codes that are present when it does this are: P1211 and Po340. I recently got the codes: Po340 and P1260, they came at different times and the truck did not stall either time. I have changed the Cam Shaft Position sensor and the tach. does show rpms while cranking when it wont start. The fuel tank and its screen have been cleaned. The fuel filter has been changed as well as the oil and oil filter. One new thing I have noticed is the fuel pressure has been rapidly fluctuating about thirty plus psi especially under load (I have a gauge on the windshield.). When I first put the gauge on it only fluctuated about ten psi. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Take care and God Bless you all,
Ed

Re: Major Fuel Pres. Fluctuation and Stalling

I would check to make sure that the Fuel Pressure Regulator valve spool and bore are not scored and that the spring is also in good shape. If everything looks good there, it may be time for a new pump. Just another thing to check, make sure that the IPR wiring is in good shape and that the solenoid coil "tin nut" is snug. Cheers!
