6speed swap

Just bought a 96 stroke, and the reverse is pretty bad, and getting hard to find.
Is a 6 speed swap from super duty worth the trouble, and is it a pretty staight foward swap. Thanks

For those who fought for it, Freedom has a taste the protected will never know!

Re: 6speed swap

You will need the transmission, clutch, and transfercase, the 6 speed master/slave cylinder, engine adapter plate (thin steel instead of the thick aluminum one), and the superduty transmission crossmember. I had to shorten the rear sd driveshaft on the regular cab longbed conversion i did by two inches but the front driveshaft fit perfectly. You will have to push the bottom of the cab up a little bit for clearance, but the sd crossmember gets the driveshaft angle pretty close. Bolt it all in and come up with a way to bolt the master cylinder to the firewall its pretty straight forward
