Anyone know if I can use a normal glow plug relay to replace the existing module as long as I hook up the wiring the same and use the existing shunt? Also anyone know a definitive way to test the module? I replaced all my glow plugs yesterday checked my wiring and I am still having cold start issues and throwing a code.

On one of these forums someone had a set of pictures of the Stancor with the California shunt installed. Just can't find it now, it was within the last month. I imagine without the shunt you would be getting some sort of glow plug failure code since without the shunt it would be the same as no glow plug current sensed.
