Re: Motor keeps hicuping

Try the CPS and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't you now have a spare for the glovebox (always good to have). Cheers!

Re: Motor keeps hicuping

Sounds like it could be an injector issue

Cam Position Sensor, located at about the 11 o'clock position to crank pulley (has what looks like a timing pointer on it). Held in by a single 10mm bolt. With the white smoke that may not be it, but cheap enough to try. Cheers!

Check all the relays under the hood too. Just try switching them all around and see what happens. My truck did this for a while and it was one of those relays. I replaced them all and never had a problem again. Actrually feels like it runs better since I did that.

Re: Motor keeps hicuping

If you have a scanner check for codes....if you have a CPS sensor code, it could be the sensor, or the pigtail that plugs into the sensor. I had to change mine, and it can raise all kindsahell until you do.....get it from International...do a search for the part number....
