Which secondary fuel filter?

im looking to add a extra fuel filter on the side of the frame rail spin on type.i see racor has some for diesel fuel but DANG! they are expensive! 200 bucks!! and some had terrible reviews. i guess it would also be a water separator. any ideas?

I've done both, they work and are not that expensive:

Driven Diesel 7.3L Fuel Tank / Pre-Pump Kit

I used cat filters fuel/water separator PN 117-4089 with the cat head for it, that was the spendy one like $170 for the head but only $30 for filter. Then secondary cat PN 1R-0750 it's a 2 micron absolute i believe but it was like $30 and $50 for the head from napa Wix 24770.

97 F250 CCSB: 238/100s, 38r w/1.15 housing, SD conversion, 5" exhaust, Stealth pumps, e-fuel, 910 springs, pushrods, headstuds, intercooled, kevlar/ceramic clutch, tuned by Matt, gauges, 4" lift on 37s. D60 and ZF6 next on the list.

97 F250 ECSB: 3" downpipe, chip tunes by Jody, gauges stock height on 35s. SOLD
