Losing fuel Pressure?

Hey guy's , my truck here lately acts like it's losing fuel pressure when you get down on it hard . It like it surge's ? don't know if thats the right descriptive , it still accelerates but it's kinda jerky. I've done the bb mod. Maybe should I plumb in a fuel gauge ? What kinda pressure should I be seeing? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Losing fuel Pressure?

How does it run without the bb? And yes hook up a fuel pressure gauge, I would also get it on a good scanner to see Hpo psi numbers and duty cycle.

Re: Losing fuel Pressure?

I have a gauge on mine and when I get on it hard my pressure drops to about 35-40 psi. Normall? 94.5 stock fuel system.
