Re: Fuel Pressure Question - 1997 Powerstroke
Are both of these on the Fuel Pressure Regulator block (the part bolted to the driver's side of the bowl with the 2 braided hoses going into it on the front portion)? There should be a schraeder valve on the front-most one (this is where the pressure is normally measured). Was there a plug in the other one to the rear portion? It sounds like where there would normally be the Fuel Restriction Sensor (they like to leak, so folks will usually just plug it with a 1/8 NPT plug). Measure it at the schraeder valve. It should be at least 40 psi
while cranking and should be around 50-60 psi
at idle. Cheers!
