Where to buy EBPV Tube?

OK so in prepping the new engine, I pulled the ebpv tube to clean and put back and as I was spraying brake cleaner down the tube, I noticed a nice steady stream shooting out the side!

I've searched a few places online and cant seem to find one, It looks like a regular 37degree flare, could I use some braided stainless hose and AN fittings? or would it be too hot?

TIA

Where is the tube located in front or behind the HPOP reservoir?
Exhaust Back Pressure Tube
(Ford) F7TZ-9D477-A (94.96 earlier models, behind of the reservoir)
(Ford) F7TZ-9D477-AA (97-up; later models in front of reservoir) but in some case it may mount like earlier models, so you have to check where is, to get the correct # part.
I also have this # part but I dont know which of those are:
Dorman # 598-104 (Rockauto)

F-250 PSD 1996 ext.cab 2WD, Short bed, E4OD.

Re: Where to buy EBPV Tube?

Here are some part numbers (Stroker #1 beat me to it):

Exhaust BackPressure Sensor Tube (sometimes called an EGR tube in aftermarket under Emissions stuff)
(Ford) F4TZ-9D477-A, (International) 1821793C1, (Dorman) 598104 (94-Feb 97; mounts on bracket above/behind oil reservoir)
(Ford) F7TZ-9D477-AA, (International) 1830933C1, couldn't find a Dorman cross for this one (Mar 97-end 97; may mount in front of reservoir)

I would try your local parts place or RockAuto for the Dorman number (earlier tube and its about half the price of factory) or "Tousley Ford Parts Depot" for the factory numbers. Cheers!

^ what they said.

....BUT, IMHO you should consider maybe deleting the ebpv.

We're talking about the tube that runs from your pass side exhaust manifold to the top front of your engine & sits by your HPOP. Are you talking about that or the butterfly on the exhaust side of the turbo?

Makes your own. Tube can be damn near straight coming across front of engine.
