Hesitation with Chip again :(

I have a 96 250 Powerstroke.

Dp tuner bought off a friend ran fine in his 95 when we took it out.

In my truck it gets a hesitation if I floor it. For example if I push the pedal to the floor it bogs down clears out and goes and it will do the same thing if you try to pass someone on the interstate. However if you ease into it the truck runs fine up to about 3/4 throttle. It sounds like the truck isnt getting enough fuel.

I thought it was fuel pressure as my pump was leaking. Replaced the pump and the truck still does it. My HPOP is full and I have no oils or diesel leaks that I know of. I am stumped.

Sounds like a case of the "stock injectors and HPOP can't keep up disease."

Does it do it on all the power levels?

Re: Hesitation with Chip again :(

IMO, the best thing you could do is get the truck on a scanner and get some live data...

If that was the case why would it run perfectly fine when its cold?

Yeah that's confusing. Get it hooked up to a scanner.
