wont start good even at 50 degrees!!!please help

96 powerstroke crewcab. glowplugs cycle fine...? and then it will fire and want to go but if it hasn't been running for the past 4 or so hours it acts like it is cold. The other day it started and was running super rough...like only a few cylinders were fireing. about every 15 to 20 seconds it ran progressively smoother as it seemed the other cylinders were starting to fire.
This is what i've done.
-replaced all the glowplugs
-replaced camshaft position sensor
-replaced glowplug control module
-checked battery connections...
I don't know what else to try. I reallly don't want to have to bring her in to a mechanic as I have no money to give them. any help is awesome.
