Re: 97' OBS troubles

well if your gonna buy it regardless then whatever. But if its super cheap i suspect theres prolly alot of work needing to be done. So if I was concerned at all i would look over EVERYTHING

Re: 97' OBS troubles

yeah its really tough to tell because its a kid. But to be honest he knows nothing, he thinks it has bad fuel in it or something. I guess it ran good before it was parked for a long time, then he got it and he is having some issues.

Its a crew cab short bed in good shape for $2500, with a 12" lift

Re: 97' OBS troubles

For that price it shouldn't matter lol. Where you going to look at it? Could it be transmission related? I know when my pickup would lock up the tq converter in reverse, it would almost die at idle.

Re: 97' OBS troubles

Does it feel as if it goes into gear? It could be the TQ converter locked due to a faulty solenoid.

Re: 97' OBS troubles

Its in Vancouver, so only 30 minutes from me. I already put a down payment to hold it for me till i can come see it, but that wont be till about 6:00 tonight.

If its transmission issues then fine, i can rebuild it for 2500 and have a $5k short bed crew cab!
