Re: slight blue smoke from a 7.3 powerstroke
The slight blue haze during warm-up is understandable. When these trucks are cold the timing is advanced to allow for a little more fuel, and that blue smoke is just some unburnt fuel. Pretty much any diesel I have seen has a slight blue haze during warm-up. As far as when you rev it, it may have one or two injectors that are getting worn out. Does it start hard when its cold? Cause that could signal an injector or two are bad.
