Driveline Questions On 97 F350

I am looking for a front driveshaft and forward drive tcase yoke for my truck and havent had much luck. Im curious as to what will work for this. Ive found a driveshaft from a 1990 F350 C6 with a BW1356 case but idk if that'll bolt up to my rig. I have also located a front driveshaft from a 97 f-350 cab and chassis. I want to make sure what i get will work before i get it and am stuck with it. I also need the yoke, what will work on that and where is a good place to locate them? Thanks so much.

Re: Driveline Questions On 97 F350

Being your truck is a 97 is should have a 4407 t-case. so you need a front yolk from a 96/97 F350(doesnt matter cab-n-chassis or pickup)
As for the front driveshaft, it can be from a 85.5-97.

The 5spd and 4spd manuals will have the shortest driveshafts
the E4OD will have the longest.
i am not sure where the C6 falls into the mix.

If you look at NAPA or EBAY, you can find reman driveshafts for about $250.

or you can use a 1356 t-case from a 85.5-95. It will bolt right in place of your 4407 but you will also need the rear driveshaft as well

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known

What is the joint called that is in the front driveshaft? Is it a CV? That is what busted. The ends are good. Any way to have it fixed?

Double cardan. Most driveline shops should be able to rebuild what you have described.

You dont really have any options. You need a yolk from a 4407 f350 t-case, if you are going to run a F350 front drive shaft

Hey Daniel my buddy Mark (black974door) just had a recently had a accident with his F-350. Once he gets things figured out on the truck. Maybe we can sell ya the parts needed off it.
