bed removal

Hey Guys, was wondering if anyones removed there bed and rode around with it off (im planning on doing some bed and rear area work).

I'd like to know a few things...

A) How do I remove the bed to start?
B) How do I fill my truck w/ fuel with the bed off?
C) Where's the easiest/best place to rig up lights and mudflaps (keep it legal).

Pictures too please, that'd be awesome, I'd like to see how my truck will look. Thanks.

Re: bed removal

the nuts are under the truck dont remember the size, the fuel tanks should be mounted to the frame not the bed best way that I have seen light mounted was to a 2x4 zip tied to the frame and small trailer lights put on and the mud flaps screwed on to the 2x4 as well

Re: bed removal

6 3/4 inch nuts under the bed, 6 screws holding the fuel tank filler necks to the fuel door area, 2 hose clamps holding the filler necks to the underside of bed outside the frame rail, and unplug the light harness behind the back bumper next to the driver side frame rail on the rear cross member
