Auto hub conversion-help needed

I got the following parts from MileMarker:
449SS Hubs
95-32721 Hub conversion kit
15002-01 Spindle nut socket

Calls to Milemarker have given me different answers.

One call, they told me I needed the Conversion kit.
Another call said I don't.

Also, the socket specified in the instructions does not fit the spanner nuts in the kit.

So, do I need the kit or not? I have the Dana 50. The instructions are just plain wrong, see attached.

I don't remember if I used the kit or not. I had to buy one socket to pull the autos out and another socket to install the manuals. I got the correct spindle nuts and lock plates directly from ford. check out sunrise ford on here or tousley ford.com

1997 f250 4x4 sclb, auto, 3.55's, 191k, diy intake w 6637, ccv mod, pyro, boost, trans gauges, 3" dp to 4" single exh. super chips for now. scangauge

You will need the conversion pieces if your current set up is like in the diagram.

Yep the conversion kit kit 95-32721is the correct spindle nuts for manual hubs. You will need two different nut sockets, one that fits the nut kit you have and one to fit the auto hub nuts.
