Intermittant Truck Issues

Soo the issues started Sunday morning after I loaded the bike in the bed... The truck had a hard time starting and after it got going it would shut itself off, I'd turn the truck off and then it started up fine and after revving the engine a bit I took off an no issues...Till i shut it off waited 6hrs and tried to start it again then same issue...
On the drive home down the highway... The truck started to "knock" on the back cyclinders and a definite loss of power was felt, it started doing this quite frequently enough for me to worry I wouldnt make it the next 60miles home, I pulled over then pulled out the chip thinking that was the issue as it may have been the cause of my failed IDM a month before.
Started down the highway again and the truck kept up its intermittant "knock" and loss of power every 10-20 minutes...
Made it home then shut the truck off and let it sit a few days... it stocked the weird knock, but still starts really hard, and once it starts and I put it in drive it shuts off and then proceeds to make it difficult to start up, once its started and revved up to 2k for 60secs it'll drive fine, but without the chip in its gutless, almost feels more gutless than usual (without chip in)...

What the heck could this be? My idea's are: Valve Cover Harness (bad glow plugs could have caused a short), Bad electric fuel pump, bad regulator?? Any other ideas??

Re: Intermittant Truck Issues

Turns out Ford... can't sell/manufacture a proper CPS to save their lives... Plugged in my old sensor, I'm assuming it is the kind International sells, and truck runs fine... Chip however is staying out... but thats a different story.
