egt gauge-- 1500 or 2500?

i am getting gauges in the near future and there are two types of egt gauges on glowshift. my truck is a 97 psd so should i get the 1500 degree or 2500 degree egt gauge? i dont think my egts should be close to 1500 so i am guessing that one but just checking thanks

AFE Big Boost
06 SD rear springs
Bilstein 5100s
3" MBRP downpipe
4 inch lift
Glowshift gauges- trans temp, boost, egt

yea 1500 will be fine. If for some reason you truck gets to 1500 time to get a new truck/ engine cuz that one will be shot

1500* is plenty.

1500* is plenty fine. If your in need we are a master dealer for Glowshift gauges.

thanks guys just as i thought. and big stroker-- is it cheaper buying the gauges from you than directly from the site? i ask because the glowshift warehouse in philly, pa is only 30 mins from my house and shipping is free so i get them the dsay after i order anyway

Just wondering what would that 2500* gauge be any good for. Besides like supermodified pullers. Even those guys with Thier huge air to water ic systems don't see 2500 or near it. Just food for thought.

Drag racing/pulling you could very well see above 1500*

They run higher EGT than diesels do.
