Another Crank no start! What next?

Been sitting 6 years, some may have seen the other thread, hopfully a specific thread will get some more minds.

Tach moves and works correctly.
Over full of oil.
Oil psi in rails.
HPO is refilling nicely.
Good fuel psi.
Swapped IDM's.
Checked rechecked then changed all fuses.
WTS light and GP system working.
No smoke whatsoever!
New fuel Filter.
Unplugged ICP.
Unplugged FB heater.
Fuel bowl is refilling nicely.

Engine only starts on ether and dies right after it's spent... except for once this morning where it picked up and ran good with good throttle feel and reved to 3000 easily.

What next?????? I'm ready to light the damned thing on fire!

Doesn't roll with anyone or tag along to be cool...

Re: Another Crank no start! What next?

I got it tightend, also while wiping 1/4" of grime off the plug found that the wires were bare and touching Cleaned and taped I cranked and cranked. I lil ether and bingo she fires and runs... prolly 30secs then dies. Crank crank crank then more ether and she runs again. Then dies at about 30 secs again. I cleaned the screen between the bowl and return which was un godly filthy.
Then started 1 last time, this time I was sure to take in what was happening b4 it died. Had to keep it above 1500, it ran VERY SMOOTH there. Reved to about 2500 a couple times to get some air through. Oil was spang on the M in normal, smoke was white and stunk like @zz! At the exact moment the CEL came on it lost fire from 1500... like a CPS, but I watched the tach this time and it went down slow not all at once. In the shower I thought about it and am thinking it has to be down to IPR and ICP... right???????
