Rear view camera in bed for 5th wheel hitch

Hey guys..I'm wanting to get my hands on one of the rear view mirrors from the 2008 (I think) Super Dutys that have the back up camera integrated. My idea is to mount a small backup camera on my truck bed or tool box and hook it up to the mirror camera for hooking up fifth wheel/gooseneck trailers. My 13' F250 has a stock backup camera but obviously that does nothing for hooking up fifth wheels. My current rear view is obstructed by the middle seat head rest. Just thought this would be a cool mod and didn't know if anyone had seen or done anything similar. Thanks.

Re: Rear view camera in bed for 5th wheel hitch

I installed my backup camera to make it easier for bumper pulls.

I've seen people mount mirrors to their fifth wheels to make it easier though. If you want it easily removable you can mount it to a magnet.
