Lightbulb TS 6 pos LEDs

I'm thinking about running 6 LEDs to show what position my chip is in I would mount it to my pillar but trying to figure out how I should do it I have a small amount of knowledge on electrical due to taking classes I would use 6 lumex single LEDs I'm not sure the wiring on a TS I would imagine it is live wires coming in to the switch I would run a rectifier diode so that power can go to the switch but can't back feed and run a 2 pole 6 position switch run the power to light the LEDs will use a resistor and more diodes on the relay to the chip does anyone think this will work and also am I over thinking this

I've seen that but with the pod and dial I will have a 120 in it compared to 20-30

Re: TS 6 pos LEDs

Never mind Ts strongly recommend against it they said it could change how the chip performs

Re: TS 6 pos LEDs

If you use a 2 pole switch there shouldn't be any effect on the chip itself. It's two different circuits on one switch. How do you want to do it. One led per position or 1 led for one position and 6 led for the 6th position.
