remote start with alarm

Who is running them? I heard real good things about astrostart but I feel like they may be out of my budget.

What can I expect to pay for a half decent system?

Re: remote start with alarm

What are you needing? Anti theft or remote start mostly. If it's anti theft. Google "cyclops". It's a relay that replaces the pcm relay and operated with a keyfob. You may get a broken window but your truck will still be there.

Ok just wasn't sure what your priority was.

Re: remote start with alarm

Ive got a clifford on mine and love it. Has worked flawless for a few years now. Clifford and viper are the same alarm by the way.

The remote start is great and its a two way system so it lets your know if the trucks running or not and if someone messes with the truck.

Only real drawback is having to replace the remotes batteries alot. Goes thru a AAA battery every 2 months or so.

Re: remote start with alarm

I had the viper rattler on my previous truck. Was a remote start only with no alarm. Worked fine.
