Daytime running lights WTF!?

On my 05, it has the work truck front end. I plan on upgrading to some Harley lights in the future, but for right now the daytime running lights are pissing me off. My question is how do you disable them? I have been stuck in the house the last 3 days so I have not even been able to get out to the truck to look and I have no owner manual.

On my 02, there is a black box in a cage basically right behind the driverside head light, just disconnect the connector to it and the DRL won't come on anymore

Re: Daytime running lights WTF!?

I found it, but its buried down there on my 05. Thanks for the information, once I get the new headlights I go down there and rip out those wires. I was half way tempted to just cut the wire, but then I decided I might as well do it the correct way.
