Upgraded interior lights!

I got tired of my awful dim stock gauges. I've never particularly liked the green either, so I figured I would remedy it!

Stock gauges:

Since i'm changing the color, I have to get rid of the green off the faceplate..

Removed, push the four clips in for the clear cover..

Pop the needles off and peeled off the faceplate, time to scrape away the green..

Holding up to a light once in awhile to see where I need to scrape..

Almost done.

ReAssembled with blue LED's installed.

I also did the HVAC and light switch too, but they need some tweaking still.

Stock HVAC..

Stock Lightswitch..

Led's in.. you can see where the stock paint is worn away, I need to cover it up with some paint and/or a sharpie.

I broke one of my LED's installing it, so I have one stock bulb still. I still need to figure out how to isolate the red on the temp from the blue LED.

Removing the green from the HVAC is as simple as taking the green plate out.

Still some tweaks, but I like it so far.

Re: Upgraded interior lights!

I actually followed a guide I found awhile ago. I'll look for the link when I'm home and post it for you. I bought the LED's from SuperBrightLed's.
