Wiring Harnesses For Headlight Upgrade

9007-9008 H13 Plug & Play Conversion Pigtails

Headlight Conversion Harness

Can someone explain the benefits of the Gos harness over the one from PDP?

Is the one from Gos required if you plan on running something like silverstars? If I plan on staying with stock bulbs will the one from PDP work?

Lights will be here today, need to order one or the other, thanks for any input.

Brian

Re: Wiring Harnesses For Headlight Upgrade

The PDP is just the adapters. The GOS harness is the adapters and the heavy duty harness, which is supposed to supply more voltage to the headlights.

Re: Wiring Harnesses For Headlight Upgrade

What ever you do don't ever run higher wattage bulbs with The H13.. is quite possibly the stupidest design for a bulb ever foisted on the public. The terminals are so small that they overheat, even at stock wattages, and melt the plastic housing of the connectors. Higher than stock wattage bulbs are offered, but not recommended and no harness will fix the problem of to small of terminals.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Go with the GOS ones, they come with relays and the power for the lights comes directly from the battery not the pos stock light connectors.
