10K and boost mods

I'm still trying to find-out what the 10K is and how to do and how much it gives, also there's this Bigg Boost is this a gimmick or does it work?

Doesn't roll with anyone or tag along to be cool...

Re: 10K and boost mods

You need to fix your sig... Ferd Killa never owned Chuck... He's a joke.

I don't know if the OBS trucks have vacuum actuated WG's or not, but all "Big Boost" is is a stupid gimic to not let the vacuum apply to the WG actuater. That can be done just by unplugging the red line from the actuater and plugging it somewhere else. On an SD, that's how it works. The 10k mod is easy. Just google it and you'll see a place with the web address that says xxxforgottenxxx... That guy has a good write up.

PM dzlstroker for a modded IDM. He's good and has good prices.

I'm building a mount for my atmosphere charger up there... No room for a bumper.

Re: 10K and boost mods

Joedaddy, look here : forget the 10k mod, use the all new 22k! - Page 3 - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums at a different way to do the 10K mod which works better in my opinion. I have done it and it is an impressive boost. Also the 4.7K mod on EOT for timing advance is one done too .

Re: 10K and boost mods

But the best is a custom chip programmed to your truck. Just my $.02.

Atmosphere Charger? Is that a tech-cool word for IC or a pre-charger?

Re: 10K and boost mods

Forget the 10K mod if you have that. That will do what the mod does better and so much more.
