Re: ipad mounting?

Cool link I know 3DStorm had a really cool console with a sub in it and a custom spot for his ipad that he uses with his SCT programmer to monitor gauges.

Has anyone done this? What all do I need to buy from that site for it to have the best connections and hook up?

Re: ipad mounting?

What ipad would be the best? Ipad mini or the big ipad? Is 16gb enough?

Re: ipad mounting?

Ipad mini fits the best. Get one with a cellular data package, the wifi versions don't have the gps antenna.

There's a bunch of different ways to wire them in. The easiest and least expensive is to get a head unit with Bluetooth and iPhone integration, and mount it somewhere else in the car

Re: ipad mounting?

I'm going to put an iPad mini in my 06 F250, I will post pics once I start working on it. I just have to get the streering and suspension worked out first.
