seat heater adjust temp. 08

Anyone know how to make the seat heater adjustable? On my old D Max, the seat temp could be set for Hi or Lo, very nice. Now on my 08 PS its on or off only.
Thanks.

sure it could be done by reducing the voltage if mine didn't fry itself I would try it and let you know!

I'm no electricity wiz, but I may give a try to reducing the heat. Is the voltage regulated by resistors in / on the seat, switch or? I will play around with it.

Re: seat heater adjust temp. 08

think of it like a light bulb, say a 100 watt element at 120v. The resistance is set already. So in the light bulbs case you reduce the voltage with a dimmer the element burns cooler or less light how ever you want to look at it. just make sure what ever you are using to reduce the voltage can handle the current/amps.
