Ur talking about the dome lights right? If that's the case. There's a dimmer on your dash. It's turned to far

Possibly something wrong with your door latch? It isn't sending a signal that your door has been open and to shut off the light.

That's a shot in the dark but its a place to start.

Where your doors mount check the switch that turns the light on and off make sure those switches are working right

Re: Cab Lights

In my door I have a door lock actuator supposedly behind that there is a little switch that senses when door is shut I was looking all around the hinges for a switch but couldn't find it because it's hidden !!!!! Called dealership and their going to charge me 40 bucks for each one and since I have to take off the actuator (that doesn't work ) I'll replace it as well... Guess that's what you start finding when you buy a truck with 290,000 miles on it.... Will try and post pics of the install some time this week crossing my fingers this is the problem. I'm supposing that's why whisky's wd40 trick worked because it penetrated the dirt out of the little switches. Now I guess I'll have working door locks too !!!! Let me know if you guys agree that this might be the problem... Thanks!!!

Re: Cab Lights

I dont know if theres a difference between manual locks and power locks, my 02 has manual and there is a switch on the bottom side of the door latch, pop the door panel off and its right there, i put a paper clip in the terminals for a few days till the new switch came in just so the light wasnt on when i was driving
