Stock lights suck! OR is it just me?

Hey guys,

Gotta 05 F350 Diesel, was driving it this evening, and thought to myself how dim the headlights are; they resembled day-times me. Is it just me, or do the stock head lights suck?

I get it, these halogen bulbs are probably the originals, and probably worn quite a bit. But I am sure simply buying new ones will only improve night vision marginally.

What do you guys think? Are people on this form going the HID route? What about the lens assembly itself? Are there better aftermarket ones out there?

PIAA Extreme White H13's are a good way to start if you don't want to replace the entire lighting system. I added them as a good base start

There are some good HID systems that significantly improve the lighting quality and quantity. Several posts about them. Search, read and ask.

After market add on lighting. More is better. I have PIAA 540 Driving and PIAA 510 Fog in my bumper. Nice white, reliable light for less than $400 bucks combined and I use the ones I want.
