Seat Heater Wiring

I have just installed newer superduty seats in my 99. I'm trying to wire the seat heaters and am wondering if the upper and lower heaters should be wired in series or parallel? I guess they would be hotter if wired in parallel, maybe too hot?

Re: Seat Heater Wiring

No No, I believe you! Was just thinking that they would be slower to warm up that way and not as hot, but I will wire them in series for sure. I'm not too sure what year the seats are, I picked them up from a leather shop that was using them as a display. Thanks for the reply!

Re: Seat Heater Wiring

Did you not use the build in wiring/relays?

Build in wiring/relays? I didn't know anything about that. On an early 99?

On the seats. Did they not have factory relays under the seat or were they not factory heated?
