Removing the Keyless Entry Pad

has anyone removed the keyless entry pad from the door, im looking to paint the black plastic to match my truck, and maybe change the color of the lights while im back there...not sure if its just stuck on with double sided tape or if theres screws through the back....figured id ask befor i go ripping at it...

just pull the door panel off and take a look...?

CCLB with some stuff done .....

yea i did that, couldnt see any screws or anything

Up to and including 2004 they are 2 sided taped on.

The one on my 09' has a u-clip on the back that holds it in.

i have taken mine off to ptm. it is held on with a u clip.

Yep, it's easy though.

I took mine off and painted it on my 08.

sweet...im going to try and take it off tonight...i would like to change the LED's in that to match my new LED interior....should compliment it all rather nicely
