DIY Compression Guage

Does the guage need to be gel filled? The only one I found here goes up to 600psi for about 30 bucks. They didn't have anything lower in psi. Hope it doesn't need to be gel filled because I have ordered it, but I could always change it.

Thanks

Got mine at Harbor Freight in a diesel kit. Just had to make the adapter for 99-03 PS. It was not gel filled and goes up to 1000psi

Thanks
