adjustable trac-bar??

What exactly does an adjustable panhard/trac bar do for a lifted Excursion? Why is a fixed bar inferior?

sorry for the dumb question.

Re: adjustable trac-bar??

It affects your alignment. A stock panhard bar will pull your axle way over to one side with lots of lift.

Re: adjustable trac-bar??

If you have a big lift and dont have an adjustable trac bar it will make your left front tire poke out a couple more inches than the right side and effect handling and alignment.
